Hello And Welcome TO The First Edition Of AssortedNoms! This is a blog dedicated to documenting my culinary exploits.

Focusing mainly on things you can do on a college or just after college type budget.  And mainly cooking for one, rather then a family style.

I plan on going from traditional stuff like marinated steaks to seared tofu to making your own chili powder.

My plan is to upload as many recipes as i reasonably can.  I'm shooting for at least one a week.

There is one drawback to this and that is i will be dealing predominately in pictures and words because I'm currently by myself and i have no one to run the camera.  you guys are going to get a lot of pictures of my hands.

After the first Recipe that will hopefully go up tonight I'm gonna do a tips and tricks blog or two.  First on things to buy/make. And then one on ingredients.

Throughout my directions I'm gonna throw out some Nerdy food knowledge cause i enjoy that stuff.
